Focused on all things transport and logistics - the Brisbane Truck Show will once again provide truckers with an opportunity to network as it returns in full force to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Going ahead in May 2025, the event will highlight a range of products from the heavy vehicle and road freight industries as well as welcome a large number of exhibitors and prospective buyers.
For truck drivers who don't often get opportunities to network with each other, the show is a great way for them to reach out and share knowledge of the trucking industry.
And in additional news for trucking workers, buyers, and enthusiasts - the Brokers from Jade Finance are set to make an appearance at the 2025 event to discuss all things heavy vehicle finance.
From commercial truck loans, used truck finance, commercial vehicle leasing, no deposit loans, no doc truck loans and more - our expert brokers can’t wait to be part of the event to meet and assist prospective clients.
We are especially keen to be involved in the Brisbane Truck Show because it plays host to the largest display of trucks, trailers, technologies, parts and accessories in the Southern Hemisphere.
With last year’s show the biggest in its 55-year history, with more than 42,800 industry members turning out across the four day event, our truck financing specialists expect the upcoming event to be even more ripe with information to educate themselves on the evolving market.
In 2024, the number of exhibitors that turned out at the show was enough to cover 30,000 square metres, and the number of attendees at least 15 per cent higher than any previous show.
Continually growing to provide more opportunities to truckers, the Brisbane Truck Show has been produced by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia since its inception in 1968.
HVIA chief executive Todd Hacking said the upcoming show is set to be bigger and better than ever.
“What started back in 1968 as an event to connect members with their customers has become much more than that,” he said.
“This evolution will continue in 2025 - plus some new exciting additions we can’t wait to reveal in due course.”
With an estimated 60 per cent more heavy vehicles on our roads this year, and the total distance traveled by those vehicles increased 80 per cent over the same period - the heavy vehicle industry is also showcasing their move towards greener emissions.
Aimed at increasing awareness and education of the heavy vehicle industry, last year’s event was based on six themes including innovation, safety, sustainability, careers, knowledge, and community.
The upcoming event is expected to carry a similar variety of themes as event organisers continue the show’s focus on research and development by promoting the evolution of transport and logistics as an industry, as well as innovation.
Many heavy vehicle automobile companies are again expected to showcase their products to general buyers and companies who attend, with a variety of additional entertainment set to coincide including charity shows, live music extended trading, discounts, vouchers, and more.
The 2025 event will be held on May 15 - 18 at the world-class Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Event updates will be posted on the Brisbane Truck Show website.
